I'm sure it's real fantastic that some bug guy photographed the world's biggest bug, the giant weta. I'm certain for bug people it was in the wet dream category....

Those Big bastards are confined to one small island so you could easily avoid them Jenni if you ever came down our way.
ReplyDeleteBut, you'd still possibly find smaller (only slightly) versions in the rest of the country... Like the Cave Weta. Oh, there's also the 'Avondale spider' (the one used in the movie Arachnid, the spiny stick insect, the Huhu beetle, the... never-mind... Guess you won't be visiting soon huh?
Hey, at least we don't have too many poisonous ones like Australia.
